Choose one or more practices to carry into the week, then share what you noticed when your group meets again.
Set aside ten minutes this week to sit quietly and ask God to love you. Not to speak to you about what you need to do or change -- simply to love you. Notice what comes up emotionally and bring it back to the group next time.
Write down one fear that is currently shaping how you relate to God or to others. Then write next to it: "Perfect love casts out this fear." Pray over it daily and ask the Spirit to make that truth real to you.
Identify one person in your life -- a family member, coworker, neighbor, or fellow group member -- and do one concrete thing this week that pursues their good at some cost to yourself. Do not announce it. Simply do it.
If your group has enough trust, consider sharing one area where you have been withholding love from someone. Invite the group to pray for you and hold you accountable.
Read 1 John 4:9-10 and spend time meditating on what it means that God sent His Son as the atoning sacrifice for sin. Let the cross be your anchor point for the week rather than your own performance or feelings.
